MKM Series 2016 - Frankfurt

DEUTSCHE BESCHREIBUNG WEITER UNTEN!

Welcome to the second stop of the 2016 MKM Series, organized by JK Entertainment: Frankfurt!

Please note that this is four day Event (Friday, Saturday, Sunday AND Monday)!

There will be Main Events in the Standard, Modern, Legacy and Vintage formats on the four days, as well as plenty of Side Events.

All judges must be able to communicate in either english or german. Any additional languages are great, but not a requirement.

Please indicate on what days you want to work for us, AS WELL AS how many days you need to be accepted for at least and/or at most in order to be able to work.

We are looking for Main Event Headjudges (L3+ strongly preferred), Score Keepers (capable of handling multiple Events with 200+ Players), Floor Judges and Stand Bye Judges. Please indicate any and all roles you are willing to fill in your application.

L1s applying for the Event need to have a solid grasp on the IPG and the MTR and should provide Exam IDs of their latest Policy Practice Tests in their application, as well as the percentage reached on those tests.

Scorekeepers should indicate previous score keeping experience in their application.

Standbye Judges are expected to be present at the event and get to play 1 Event of choice per day as Standbye Judges for free. If activated, Standbye Judges are considered Floor Judges and compensated as such.

The number of judges and scorekeepers needed is still to be determined.

COMPENSATION (Topic to change, but only upwards!):

Floor Judges: 1 Box OR 80€ Store Credit per day worked

Head Judges of the Main Events: 1.5 Boxes OR 120€ Store Credit per day worked as Head Judge

Scorekeepers: 1.5 Boxes OR 120€ Store Credit per day worked

Food and Drinks will be provided by JK Entertainment throughout the day, including at least 1 warm meal per day.

ROOM SPONSORSHIP:

You can apply for Room Sponsorship. Room Sponsorship includes being set up in a Hotel Room with another judge or staff member at most from the day prior to your first day on staff until the day after your last day on staff, as well as travel from and to the Hotel from the Event site.

APPLYING FOR ROOM SPONSORSHIP IS INDEPENDANT OF YOUR APPLICATION AS JUDGE OR STANDBYE.
This means that you CAN apply to be a Standbye Judge with Room Sponsorship.
Therefor, if you apply for Room Sponsorship, please indicate if you are willing to attend even if you do not get Room Sponsorship, or if Room Sponsorship is a requirement for you being able to attend!
IF YOU DO NOT INDICATE THAT YOU NEED ROOM SPONSORSHIP TO ATTEND, WE WILL ASSUME THAT YOU CAN ALSO ATTEND WITHOUT ROOM SPONSORSHIP.

Being able to work without Room Sponsorship does not decrease your chances of being granted Room Sponsorship, but it does increase your chances of being accepted.

Willkommen zum zweiten Halt der MKM Series 2016, organsiert von JK Entertainment: Frankfurt!

Zunächst sei gesagt, dass dieses Event tatsächlich 4 Tage lang ist (Freitag bis Montag).

Es gibt Main Events in Standard, Modern, Legacy und Vintage, sowie eine Vielzahl an Sideevents.

Wenn ihr außer Deutsch noch weitere Sprachen zu dem Grad beherrscht, dass ihr aus und in diese Sprache übersetzen könnt, schreibt dies bitte in eure Bewerbung.

Bitte schreibt ebenfalls in euere Bewerbung, an welchen Tagen ihr arbeiten wollt, and welchen ihr als Standbye Judge zur Verfügung stehen würdet, sowie für wieviele Tage ihr mindestens und/oder maximal arbeiten möchtet.

Wir suchen nach Headjudges für die Main Events (L3+ stark bevorzugt), Floorjudges, Scorekeeper und Standbye Judges. Bitte gebt alle Rollen, für die ihre zur Verfügung steht, in eurer Bewerbung an.

L1 Judges müssen den MTR und den IPG kennen, und sollten in ihrer Bewerbung die IDs ihrer letzten Policy Practice Tests angeben, sowie die darin erreichte Prozentzahl.

Scorekeeper sollten in ihrer Bewerbung ihre bisherige Scorekeeper-Erfahrung umreißen.

Standbye Judges müssen an den Tagen, an denen sie Standbye Judges sind, beim Event sein und dürfen pro Tag ein Event gratis mitspielen. Sollten sie aktiviert werden, werden sie als Floorjudges behandelt und auch so kompensiert.

KOMPENSATION (Kann sich noch ändern, aber nur nach oben!):

Floor Judges: 1 Display ODER 80€ Store Credit pro Arbeitstag

Headjudges der Main Events: 1.5 Displays ODER 120€ Store Credit pro Arbeitstag als Headjudge

Scorekeeper: 1.5 Displays ODER 120€ Store Credit pro Arbeitstag

Essen und Getränke werden für die Arbeitstage von JK Entertainment gestellt, inklusive mindestens einer warmen Mahlzeit pro Tag.

ROOM SPONSORSHIP:

Es ist möglich, sich für Room Sponsorship zu bewerben. Room Sponsorship bedeutet, das wir euch vom Tag vor eurem ersten Arbeitstag bis zum Tag nach eurem letzten das Hotel in einem Doppelzimmer mit einem anderen Judge oder Mitarbeiter stellen, sowie den Transport vom Hotel zur Site organisieren, falls nötig.

DIE BEWERBUNG AUF ROOM SPONSORSHIP IST UNABHÄNGIG VON DER BEWERBUNG ALS JUDGE ODER STANDBYE.
Das bedeutet, man KANN sich als Standbye mit Room Sponsorship bewerben.
Deshalb, solltet ihr euch auf Room Sponsorship bewerben, schreibt bitte in eure Bewerbung ob ihr auch ohne Room Sponsorship arbeiten würdet, oder ob ihr Room Sponsorship benötigt.
Falls ihr das nicht in eure Bewerbung schreibt, gehen wir davon aus, dass ihr auch ohne Room Sponsorship arbeiten würdet.

Falls ihr auch ohne Room Sponsorship arbeiten würdet, verringert das nicht eure Chancen, Room Sponsorship zu erhalten, erhöht jedoch natürlich eure Chancen, überhaupt angenommen zu werden.
