SCG Regional Championships - Raleigh, NC

East Coast Gaming is preparing for the SCG Modern Regionals in Raleigh, North Carolina and we're inviting interested judges to apply to help us make the event a success.  All relevant information is as follows

Regional Championships

Start Time: 10 AM (Doors at 8:30 AM, call time at 9 AM)

Format: Modern

Head Judge: Geoff Drake - L2 - Chapel Hill, NC

SCG IQ

Start Time: 2 PM

Format: Standard

Head Judge: TBA

Additional scheduled events & on demand events will fire depending on player interest.

Sunday

SCG Modern Super IQ

Start Time: 10 AM (Doors at 8 AM, call time at 9 AM)

Head Judge: TBA

Expectations

Judges are expected to prepare for each event by reviewing the Comprehensive Rules, Magic Tournament Rules, Infraction Procedure Guide, and Judging at Regular REL documents. These documents can be found at the Magic Judges Document Center. As representatives of East Coast Gaming and the Magic Judge Program, judges are expected to behave in a professional manner at all times. This includes arriving on time, and in appropriate attire.

Compensation

Compensation at the Regional Championship is based on judge certification level and is paid in Compensation Units (CU).

• Level 1 Judges will receive 1.5 CU/day staffed.

• Level 2 Judges will receive 2 CU/day staffed.

• Level 3+ Judges will receive 2.5 CU/day staffed.

Each CU can be redeemed for one of the following:

• 1 box of any Standard Set

• $75 (Requires a completed United States tax form)

• $100 in East Coast Gaming store credit.

All judges will also receive a Regionals playmat!
