Ropecon 2013 Magic events

Poromagia is looking for judges for the Magic events at Ropecon 2013. For more information on Ropecon, please visit http://www.ropecon.fi. 

Event schedule: 

Friday 26th of July: 

17:00 Team Sealed

Saturday 27th of July: 

11:00 PoroTour WPN Premium Tournament: RTR block Sealed deck with booster draft finals (HJ: Johanna Virtanen L3)

Sunday 28th of July:

10:00 German Highlander (5 rounds) 

In addition, pick up 8 man events will be run every day. 

Judge requirements and testing

For the Swiss events, we are looking for L1+ judges. Pick-up judges can be L0. Judge testing will be available but must be arranged in advance. 

Ropecon is a challenging environment to judge in and Head Judges should be comfortable working with a team and dealing with inexperienced players. 

Judge compensation:

All judges who work at least one day will receive a free weekend pass to the convention. In addition, judges working the Swiss events will receive 50 EUR worth of Poromagia store credit for each day worked. Judges who run the pick-up events will receive 25 EUR worth of Poromagia store credit, with a potential bonus for the number of events run (TBD). 

Judges who need accommodation may sleep in the dormitory area (bring your own sleeping bag and mat).
