5isthenew7 "Race to Platinum" Event #2

I would like to open applications for 5isthenew7's second "Race to Platinum" series event in Taunton, UK.

We are looking for one (1) floor judge and three (3) standby judges in the following makeup:

3x L1+
1x L2+

Applying for the event

Please write a cover letter informing us of any relevant Competitive REL experience and any judge development goals you currently hold that this event could help towards. If there are any particular roles or experiences you want to take out of this event, please let us know!

Judges will be chosen based on their cover letter and the recommendations of Area Captains. Strong consideration will be given towards judges needing Competitive REL experience for progression.

Compensation

Judges will receive compensation of 1 display of boosters (Battle for Zendikar or Oath of the Gatewatch) or £60. You can be paid via cash, paypal or bank transfer.

Standby Activation

Standby judges will be expected to turn up and play in the event for free. Standbys will be activated at 44, 68 and 90 players; if successful, you will be informed which point you activate at. For reference, the first event had an attendance of 100 players.

Judges are expected to turn up on site at 10am to attend the pre-event judge meeting and potentially assist with some setup.
