Event Information
Welcome to applications for the third Midlands Magic Open event.
I am looking for a Head Judge and a Standby floor judge. The Head Judge must either be L2+ or Level 1 with aspirations to make the jump to Level 2. If you are a Level 1 judge and would like to apply for this position, please include the name of the judge who is mentoring you in your application so that I can check with them on your progress. The Standby judge can be any level.
The event will be run at Competitive REL so any L1 judges on staff must be up to date with the IPG, particularly the new Hidden Card Error penalty.
Compensation for this event will be offered as a Booster Box of Oath of the Gatewatch + lunch (there's a Dominos nearby so...). If chosen to be the standby judge, you will receive free entry to the main event if not activated and will be activated to judge at around 55-60 players. Judges will be required on site for 11am.
