Emerald City Comic Con

Cascade Games loves Conventions.  We have run events at Conventions for years and are excited to get a chance to do it in the wonderful city of Seattle. We are looking for contractors to work in either Judge/Staff for Emerald City Comic Con 2016. ECCC runs for 3 Full Days and 1 half day.  There will not be gaming on the half day, but you should come and check out the con on that day.  All levels of certification are welcome to apply. 

Compensation includes:
4-day pass to Emerald City Comic Con
$100 per shift.

Compenstion does not include:
Travel
Hotel
Parking
Food

If you love games, entertainment, and Magic, this event is a great chance to get your judge fix and your games fix at the same time!

Cascade Games wants judges to have fun while judging but also have the chance to see the sights at Emerald City Comic Con.  In keeping with that and the event needs, applicants must be able to commit to working at least 2 days, one of which will be Saturday at ECCC.  Judges can commit to all three days if they desire.  Effort will be made to maintain staffing levels that allow all staff to have one of the three days off based on availability and demand.  All selected staff are encouraged to arrive Thursday to pick-up your badge, regardless of when your first shift is, and enjoy ECCC!

We will also be having a Staff Meeting on Thursday evening for those who can attend.  This is not mandatory, but we will be covering a lot of information about the weekend and getting people excited for the weekend!

Please note that all staff members are independent contractors and will be required to fill out the following documents before starting their first shift. 

• W-9 or W-8BEN, whichever is applicable.
• An independent contractor agreement which can be found here.  (one will be provided for you on site)
