SCG Spring States - WI

(all information on this page is currently tenative, and will be final no later than one month prior to the event)

Misty Mountain Games is hosting the Wisconsin SCG Spring States, and we are looking for a pair of head judges, along with a few floor judges for each event the weekend.

Please indicate on your application if you are applying as a volunteer (you are applying specifically to judge) or would like to be on standby. (you are planning on playing, but would be available to judge if we need more staff) If you're only available for one day, don't worry - there is a place in the application to mark that, and one day is fine.

Judges are expected to be on-site at about 8:45 AM, and be around until the end of Swiss rounds (approx. 7:00 PM with expected player count) with a couple judges staying through the Top 8. Please note in your application if it is contingent on leaving earlier, or if you have any other notes.

Judge attire will be judge black shirt, black pants, and comfortable (preferably black) shoes. If you do not have a judge shirt, please wear a collared black shirt; we will try to have a judge shirt available for you at the event site.

Compensation is in boosters: minimum 1 booster/entrant, distributed amongst staff based on judge level, travel considerations, and length of day. Lunch and snacks/drinks will be provided for judges, as well. (comp generally trends higher than this - these numbers are just our defaults)
