PPTQ Honolulu 2016 Scenic City Games

Preliminary Pro Tour Qualifier!

I am looking for a Level 2 Judge to judge this PPTQ for me. We have run one successful PPTQ this past November and it was a great hit with our players! Please review the info below and contact me if you are interested in judging this event.

- Standard constructed. Registration opens at 10:00am, player meeting is at 11:30am and round one will begin at 12:00 Noon. After the Swiss rounds there will be a single elimination top 8 cut.

- Scenic City Games is located in the heart of downtown Owen Sound. Our shop is surrounded by excellent local restaurants and several different branches of the most prominent banks. Despite it's reputation of being a quiet tourist/vacation city, our MTG community is vibrant and alive as ever. As a potential Judge for us, the closer you are located to Owen Sound the better!

- This PPTQ will have a player cap of 32. Our store can reasonably accommodate 40 people so 32 should be fairly comfortable.

- There will be a printer available for firing out match slips and any other relevant tournament materials. A large LCD screen will also display the round countdown timer.

- The tournament organiser will help by handling the match slip printout and entry and everything else possible to free you up for strictly looking after rules questions.

- Sponsorship: Providing you don't have too far to come, travel expenses will be taken care of by the store (gas money/Greyhound ticket to and from the event), lunch during the day, and your choice of a booster box of standard legal product or $100 store credit.
