Ohio SCG States

Griffon Events on behalf of Comic Town will be hosting the StarCityGames.com Spring State Chamionships for Ohio on April 23rd and 24th. Thank you for your interest in joining us to put these two great tournaments.

L2 JohnPaul Adams will be our Head Judge for one of the events.
We are looking for one other head judge, several additional floor judges, and a scorekeeper for this event. L2 judges are preferred, but L1 judges will be accepted depending on need and ability.

Compensation for staffed judges will be one box of the current set or 75 dollars per level plus a $20 stipend per day. For example a L1 judge staffed for both days would get 2 Boxes or 150 dollars and 40 dollars in stipends and a Level 2 staffed for one day would recieve 2 Boxes or 150 Dollars and 20 dollars in stipend. 

Registration begins at 9am, and the event will begin at 10am. The judge call is at 8:00am. Judges are expected to stay until the conclusion of the Swiss rounds. If you must arrive later than 8:00am or may have to leave before the conclusion of Swiss, please note this in your application.

The dress code for judges at this event is a tucked-in black shirt (preferably a Magic Judge uniform shirt), black pants, black belt, and comfortable black shoes. Judges should not be in uniform while off-duty, including during breaks and while trading.

Staffing decisions will be announced no later than 1 week after the application deadline.
