Judges Required

We're looking for one standby judge for this event. You must be a certified judge. We expect that there will be enough players to require you to judge, but sometimes turnout can be unexpectedly low, so this is not guaranteed.

As this event is Shadows over Innistrad Sealed, it would be good if you had knowledge of the set, but I expect most people have played in a Prerelease, so probably not a problem.

Compensation

The compensation for this event if activated will be one booster of Shadows over Innistrad per player, max of one box (36 boosters). Free tea/coffee will also be available, although I hear the milkshakes are excellent.

If you are not activated, then you will be able to play in the event for free. 

Timing and Availability

The main event starts at 11:30am, so ideally you'll be there a little earlier than that so we can work out if you're likely to be activated and start preparing. Ideally, you should be available until at least the end of the Quarter Finals. If you have any restrictions on when you can arrive, or how late you are able to stay, please state this in your application.

Judge Testing

There will be testing opportunities for Level 1 candidates available at this event, but only by prior arrangement. If you would like to test for Level 1, please contact Daniel (Facebook or the_random_smurf@hotmail.co.uk) as far in advance in order to arrange details.

Good luck to all applications. Applications for this event will close on Sunday 17th April 2016 (a week prior to the event). Shortly thereafter, staff will be selected. If you need to be informed of your application status before this date, please mention this in your cover letter.
