Welsh Judge Conference 2016

Welcome to the second ever Welsh Judge Conference, or Judge Moot!

This is a great opportunity for judges to get together and share experience and knowledge, as well as being the place to get tested for Level 1 if you want to start your judge career.

There will be seminars, talks and workshops throughout the day and there will be plenty of time for Commander and other board games.

There will be testing opportunities open to anyone that wants it and has met the basic prerequisites (http://blogs.magicjudges.org/o/judge-levels-redefinition/#level-1). Don't worry about the interview/review section as we will be doing those throughout the day.

We will be confirming the agenda closer to the time, but if you are interested in presenting something yourself or have a particular interest in somebody presenting something to you then please let us know in your application. We will be hosting a judge dinner in the evening for those that are interested.

We are based out of the Cardiff University's student union building so there are plenty of places to eat and drink, vending machines and we are short walk from Cardiff city centre.

This event is the day before the Welsh WMCQ at Rules of Play, so a great opportunity to justify a weekend of Magic!

There will be foil support for certified judges. The deadline for applications to guarantee foils is the week before the official deadline (4th June). You are free to apply after that date and you will be eligible to attend the event and come for dinner but we won't be able to promise you any foils.
