Dutch Open Series - NIEUWEGEIN - 3 & 4 SEPTEMBER 2016

Some information about the Dutch Open Series, it's comparable to the big .EU leagues such as MKM Series, TOP Series & Bazaar of Moxen series. 2 day spectactle of Magic in a superb location in the centre of Holland (Fletcher Hotel Nieuwegein, near Utrecht). On Saturday we will host Legacy & Standard NKQ's (National Championship Qualifiers), on Sunday we will host a large +4K Modern PPTQ - for Sunday we expect atleast 200+ players.

Last edition (April 2016), we had around 400 unique players visiting the Modern (188), Legacy (78) & Sealed tournaments (106). Maximum cap for this location is 256 unique players per day. Total prize support is over € 8.500,00 divided over 2 days.

For the upcoming Dutch Open Series (website: http://www.dutchopenseries.nl) we are looking for:

2 Headjudges, 2 for Saturday (Legacy & Standard), preferred level 2 or higher
4-6 floorjudges per day, preferred level 2 or higher (or a very experienced level 1 almost becoming level 2)
2-3 standby judges per day, you can join an event of your liking if you aren't needed to judge
1 dedicated scorekeeper (already filled)

Compensation (per day):

• 50 euro for a 8 hour workshift (with occasional free time)
• 25+ euro if the shift is longer than 8 hours (it probably will)
• Flexible compensation for travel expenses (maximum of € 25,00 depending on location)
• Headjudges will receive an extra +25 euro
• Lunch (in the form of 2 sandwiches, fresh fruit + candy bar)
• Dinner (for judges doing a late shift, 8+ hours)
• Softdrinks / coffee / tea throughout the day

We have the availability to reserve hotel rooms with a small discount. A single room for 1 night is € 84,00, a double room is € 94,00 - both incl. breakfast. If you stay at the hotel we will pay the travel expenses anyway to help you pay for the room. If you would like to use this option please contact me (Charly) so I can make the reservation in time. This also guarantees you of a great night with some beers on the house & maybe a little draft :)!
