Face to Face Games Edmonton Open 5K

Welcome to the Face to Face Games Edmonton Open 5K! Thank you for your interest in the second day of an incredibly busy weekend of Modern.

Event Information & Expectations:

Arrive at venue: 8:45 AM.
Registration: 9 AM
Event start: 10 AM
Expected number of rounds: 8
Expected top 8 start: 6:30 PM.

Compensation:

We are looking for four (4) floor judges and two (2) standby judges. If preregistration suggests the need for additional judges, more floor judge positions will be added.

Floor judges and activated standby judges will receive their choice of:  

$150 or
$180 store credit (FacetoFaceGames)

Standby judges that are not activated will receive free entry to the Open or $30 in side events entry.

Expectations for the event include:

• Answering judge calls and rules questions
• Maintaining the play area for players (picking up trash, keeping table numbers organizes, etc.)
• Staying current with recent policy changes
• Deep familiarity/understanding of all Rules & Policy documents
• Professional demeanor and attire
• In addition to the main event we will be responsible for side event drafts.
