PTQ Born of the Gods at Outpost 2000

Greetings all,

This is the event for the Minnesota PTQ for October, which will be held at Outpost 2000 on October 26th.

We are looking for a few things out of the staff for this event:

• Out-of-area judges.  We are looking to get more connections between people in the region and not just the Minneapolis area.  If you are outside the area and looking to work with the core Minneapolis crew, we are excited to have you on this event.
• Judges looking for specific learning experiences.  Do you really want to find out how to do deck checks well?  Have you never been part of end-of-round proceedures?  Are you interested in learning how to handle calls better?  If you have something specific you are looking to do, we are looking to get you this experience.
• People who are interested in testing for L1 in the future.  This event will have a very good staff, including at least two L2s (already scheduled for the event), and will include some of these people in non-floor positions, leading to lots of testing and feedback opportunities.  If you are interested in judge advancement, we can either get you tested, or get you on the path to advancement if there are things that need to be addressed first.

Judge attire for this event will be judge blacks - if you are selected for this event and don't have judge blacks, get in touch with Rob or Steve, and we will make sure there is a shirt available for you at the event.

Judges at this event will recieve packs based on player attendence - one pack per player will be added to the judge product pool, and it will be divided by the head judge during the day of the event.

*Airfare award. An airfare award shall consist of one (1) roundtrip coach air ticket, on an airline chosen by Wizards or its designate, from the major airport nearest your home to the city in which the applicable tournament or championship will be held. You will adhere to all instructions provided by Wizards to assist Wizards or its designate in booking such air ticket. Wizards or its designate will book such ticket to include the days of the applicable tournament or championship. Lodging, meals, gratuities, ground transportation, and fees caused by changes to airline reservations are your responsibility. Trip must be taken on dates designated by Wizards or award will be forfeited.
