Event Information
Greetings all,
I am proud to announce the 2013 Minnesota Midwest Judge Conference!
This event will be hosted by Outpost 2000 in Minneapolis (well, Coon Rapids, on the north end of the city area), and is being held Sunday, November 10th. We will have a TCGPlayer Platinum ($1,000) event on Saturday, November 9th as a lead in to the conference. If you need to be on event staff for the Platinum event in order to make the trip economical, please note that in your application to that event here.
The conference will run from 11am until a currently unknown time based on the number of presentations we get - it should not be longer than five hours, with a break in the middle.
This judge conference is focused more on local judging than on higher level judging - most of the presenters will be experienced L2s, and topics I have had discussed with me so far include confidence in delivering rulings, tips for working paper/slips on a larger event, and how to do a successful deck check.
Seminars will be approximately 30 minutes in duration.
Seminars will be recorded and reposted on the internet after the event, barring technical difficulties.
