Event Information
Arcon is the biggest board game convention in Norway. It'll last from Friday 24.June until Monday 27.June. Magic will be a major part of this convention which means we'll need judges to fill the spots for organizing and judging the tournaments. We'll have both reg REL and comp REL tournaments for this event which means we'll need judges both with experience judging at comp REL and judges not that experienced. If you're a judge seeking oppotunity to judge/experience judging at bigger conventions don't hesitate to apply.

Staff
We'll need judges for all 4 days from Friday until Monday. To staff 4 Opens and a invitational legacy tournament all run at comp REL and a bunch of various tournaments run at reg REL. There will also be on demand 8 and 4-player events running all day. All 4 Opens and the invitational will each need a head judge. The days will be separated into morning and evening shifts.
For this we'll have:
- 2 evening shifts on Friday from 18pm until the tournament finishes
- 4-5 morning shifts on Saturday from 9am until 5pm
- 4-5 evening shifts on Saturday from 4pm until the tournament finishes
- 4-5 morning shifts on Sunday from 9am until 5pm
- 4-5 evening shifts on Sunday from 4pm until the tournament finishes
- 1 morning shifts on Monday from 10am until the tournament finishes
Judges may apply for one or multiple shifts. Judges applying for multiple shifts will have higher chance for being selected. You may also apply for specific tournament you would like to judge or a specific position in a tournament or shift like scorekeeper, head judge or floor judge. Please state it clearly in your cover letter if you wish so.
Compensation
Current compensation will be 15 booster per shift and includes free entry to the convention and food coupons for each shift worked.
