PTQ Valencia Double-Header - London

Dark Sphere is pleased to announce a double-header weekend on 16-17 November 2013. On Saturday we will have a Pro Tour Qualifier for Pro Tour Valencia. On Sunday we will have two constructed events with large cash prizes, including a £2,000 Standard event.

The tournament organizer for this event is Alexi Tingey. The head judge for the PTQ is Thomas Ralph.

The format on Saturday is Theros sealed deck with Theros booster draft top 8. The formats on Sunday are Legacy and Standard.

We are looking for approximately 5 staff members for Saturday and 4 staff members (including head judges) for Sunday. Due to the standard of the event and expected turnout, level 2 or higher judges will be prioritized. While the closing date for applications is 5 September, we will be accepting judges on a rolling basis throughout the application period, so it is in your interest to apply as early as possible. We do not currently intend offering standby judge positions.

Judges will be required from 10:00am each day and may be required to remain until the conclusion of the top 8 playoff.

Compensation will be one box of Theros boosters per day. There may be the option to take boosters from an older set instead subject to availability on the day. Judges will also receive snacks, drinks, and hot food, or a cash stipend in lieu. Other expenses including but not limited to travel and parking are not covered.
