Thank you for your interest in Rooks' Modern event! This store is hosting a judge conference the next day, and this event will hopefully help attract more interested parties to Bozeman for the weekend. There will be more than a couple judges playing, so you'll have to be on your toes!

Staffing needs: I am looking for one judge to staff this event. Preference will be given to applicants planning to test for L2 at the conference the next day. If you are not planning to take your L2 test the next day you are welcome to apply, knowing your application will receive a lower priority, or to apply to work for experience on a volunteer basis.

Expected turnout is around 30 players. That makes for either 5 or 6 rounds, followed by a cut to the top8.

Compensation: $50 rooks credit.

Expectations: Applicants should arrive in the standard judge uniform -- a judge shirt (or black button up shirt if you have not received an official judge shirt yet), black pants (no jeans!), and black shoes. Judges will be expected to help answer judge calls, perform deck checks, and other basic tournament tasks.
