West Texas/New Mexico Area Judge Conference

Hello West Texas and New Mexico!

I know being a judge away from the bigger cities can feel like a daunting and lonely time, but that is all about to change. After a discussion with your area captain Ken Perry it was decided that we wanted to start bringing the West Texas judges together and strengthen our section of the community. To do this we will start hosting regular area focused conferences at set intervals still to be dertermined.

Since the point of these regular conferences will be to strengthen our local judging community this first one will be very beginner friendly and more set up like a round table discussion for us to get to know each other. There will be time though for a few presentations though, so if interested in presenting please list that in your application for the event.

L1 testing will be available at the event, so please list that in your application as well. Currently at this time L2 testing will not be offered. Information on requirements can be found here: http://blogs.magicjudges.org/o/judge-levels-redefinition/#level-1

Judges not in the intended area are still welcome to join us if they want to make the trip. It is also open to those that want to take interest in the judge program.

Walk-ins welcome on day of, but please apply if you plan on attending.
