Event Information
Expectations
We expect 80-100 visitors during this event weekend.
All staff members are expected to perform their duties in a professional manner that reflects positively on the rest of the event staff. We expect you to have fun, be professional and contribute to a great atmosphere for everyone to be in.
In addition to making rulings, judges can be asked to assist with event logistics, such as managing lines, pushing chairs, picking up trash, handing out prizes. You may also be put in charge for side-events running alongside the main event you apply for.
We expect every staff members to dress professionally throughout the event weekend and hold up their personal hygiene. A black attire (black Magic Judge shirt, black pants, shoes and belt) is required for judges. If you do not have a judge shirt, use a black shirt instead.
We aim to provide visitors to this Convention an excellent experience.
Judges needed
We are looking to staff the following:
- Friday 30th of September: 1 Head Judge - level 1+ is required- GPT Warszawa, Standard
- Saturday 1st of October: 1 Head Judge - level 2+ is required - PPTQ Dublin, Sealed Deck
- Saturday 1st of October: 1 Floor Judge - level 1+ is required - PPTQ Dublin, Sealed Deck
- Sunday 2nd of October: 1 Head Judge - level 1+ is required- GPT Chiba, Legacy
In addition, the Judge Manager will be floor judging all three days.
Shifts
You may apply for one to three days.
- On Friday, the shift is from 12:00 to 22:00.
- On Saturday, the Head Judge shift is from 10:00 to approx. 21:00.
- On Saturday, the Floor Judge shift is from 10:00 to approx. 21:00.
- On Sunday, the shift is from 10:00 to 20:00.
Compensation and benefits
Judge Compensation will be 1 box of Kaladesh for each shift worked.
Food and drink will be provided during the tournament. If you have any allergies or are vegetarian/vegan, please share this with the TO in advance.

We do not reimburse expenses you might have on hotels and accommodations. A list of nearby hotels:
