2k-5k Charity Event

Please Note:  This is a volunteer position, there will be no compensation.

Seeking team leads and floor judges for what will hopefully be a 100+ person charity event at the Klein Multipurpose Center.  (After this event gets a little smaller, we may move some judges to the SCG IQ event starting at 4PM.) Both of these events are being held by Defeating the Silence (a local private non-profit) and Bad Wolf Trading.  This is a great opportunity to meet some other judges and gain tournament experience.  This application is going up late, but I will contact those that apply on Friday morning (or sooner) to confirm one way or another.  Please feel free to email me at andrea.wallace@lonestar.edu if you have any questions.

*Note: If the event ends up smaller than expected, we should be able to give free entry to any extra judges that wish to stay and play.
*Judges may also be able to receive free entry into the SCG IQ Plus if we have excess later in the day

Requirements: 

-Knowledge of the comprehensive rules.

-Familiarity with the IPG.

-Proper all black judge attire (region shirts are acceptable).

-Availablility from 8:30 until the end of 7-9 rounds of Swiss (starting at 10am), depending on the number of players.

     -Please let us know if you would need to arrive late or leave early in your application.
