RPTQ Amsterdam

On Sunday, august 21st, 2016 Magic United will organise the first ever RPTQ The Netherlands. The format will be Standard.
Allowed sets/expansions are; Dragons of Tarkir, Magic Origins, Battle for Zendikar, Oath of the Gatewatch, Shadows over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon.
For this RPTQ we will go to the Mercure Hotel Amsterdam City in Amsterdam.

Since this is the first ever RPTQ in the Netherlands we have no idea whatsoever about the number of players we can expect. It could range from 40 to 100 I guess. So we are looking for: 2 Floorjudges for sure and a scorekeeper. Standbye judges would be great. (Stand By will be allowed to play the PPTQ for free if not activated.)

On the same day at the same venue we are hosting an Sealed PPTQ to try to make some money since Wizards doesn't sponsor or help financially for the RPTQ. For that tournament we are looking for a Headjudge and Floorjudges as well. Expected attendance there is about 80 - 100 players. I'll create an event for that as well but just so all you judges now that we will be able to put you to work if you apply :-).

For the PPTQ we're looking for 4 judges in total;

1 Head Judge, 2 Floor Judges and 1 Stand By.
Activation will occer on the day itself if there are more than 128 players.)
Preferance will be given to L2+ judges, as this event will be run at Competitive REL.

All judges are expected to be present and ready to work at 10.00 hours.
Except for the HJ, everybody will be released off duty at the start of the quarterfinals.

Compensation for this event will be € 75,- ALL IN.
ALL IN means that you are expected to also cover your travel, food and drink with this amount.
It is NOT allowed to consume your own food and beverages in the venue. (The venue has no ATM, so bring cash money.)
