Event Information
Welcome to MKM Series London 2016.
The MKM Series is a 3-day event. The staff requirements for each day are not yet finalised, but will be at most at 30 players/judge.
There are two types of sponsorship you can apply for:
Volunteer - being a judge at the event
Standby - being on Standby for the given days.
Standbyes get to play one event per day as Standby for free, but can be activated at any time. When activated, they are treated as though they were volunteers, including full compensation even if they are activated throughout the day.
Compensation:
Compensation is calculated in compensation units (CU).
Each CU can be used for 1 Display of the most recent block (EMN at the time), or 80€ Storecredit at JK Entertainment.
Compensation will be as follows:
L1: 1 CU/Day
L2: 1.5 CU/Day
L3+: 2 CU/Day
Mainevent Scorekeeper: 2.5 CU/Day (This will be Jack Doyle)
Standby Scorekeeper (if activated): Level + .5 CU/Day
Mainevent Headjudge: +1 CU/Day
Standbyes will get free registration for one event per day on standbye, and will be compensated normally if activated.
Naturally, JK Entertainment will provide food and drinks for all judges on staff for free, including at least one warm meal each day. This provision may be in the form of food allowance, depending on the circumstances of the Venue.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT COVER YOUR ACCOMODATION. JUDGES ARE ENCOURAGED TO WORK TOGETHER TO FIND ACCOMODATION.
