Central/Southern Indiana Judge Conference

I am very pleased to announce the first Indiana Judge Mini-Conference of 2016, hosted in Bloomington, IN. This mini-conference is capped at 20 attendees and has a very specific focus, so please read all the details below and decide if this event is for you.

What is this Mini-Conference about?

This gathering will be specifically about improving on your current skills, as well as the Level 1 to Level 2 advancement process.

Who can attend?

This mini-conference is open to any Level 1 who desires to learn more about judging at regular and competitive REL and desires to learn more about reaching Level 2. Be prepared to get involved with interactive presentations focused on competitive judging, community involvement, and mentoring. Due to the cap, those in the area will get first preference. Circumstances will be considered for those outside the area.

Where/When is it?
This mini-conference will be hosted at The Game Preserve in Bloomington, IN on Saturday, September 17th at Noon. Attendees can expect to receive a thank you gift for attending all day.

What will we be doing?
The schedule will be as follows, pending any changes:

11:45-12: Check-In

12-12:10: Welcome

12:10-1: Judging at Regular REL

1:10-2: L1 to L2: Walk through MTR and IPG

2:10-3: Taking a Call/Basic Investigation Skills

3:10-4: L1 to L2: A walk through the Comprehensive Rules

4:10-5: Going Infinite: How to Impress Tournament Organizers and get Staffed for Events

5:10-6: Presenter Panel/Open Questions

We will be determining a location for a post-event judge dinner.
