Hello Judges!
Welcome to the 3rd World Magic Cup Qualifier 2016 for the Philippines hosted by Neutral Grounds Eton Centris.
Date: September 17-18, 2016
Format: Modern
Venue: Fishermall (final details to be announced)
Expectations
You would be working for one day unless you are chosen to judge in the Last Chance Qualifier on Friday, September 16, to be held at Neutral Grounds Eton Centris.
Judges should be familiar with the updated Comprehensive Rules and the Magic Infraction Procedure Guide.
Judges are expected to work the entire day doing the following activities among others:
- Answering rules/policy questions
- Posting pairings, distributing result slips
- Arranging tables and chairs.
- Assisting with end of round procedures
- Helping with Side Events if needed
Compensation
EMN booster packs
Booster pack computation:
- Number of players divided by 4, if 400 or less
- Number of players divided by 3, if player count for the main event exceeds 400.
- Booster packs are to be divided evenly among the judges who worked for that day.
Dress Code
Official Judge Shirt and Pants. If you do not have a judge shirt let us know so that we will try to borrow one for you.
If there will be any changes in the event details, we will inform all affected judges know as soon as possible.
