RPTQ & LCQ Catskill NY

Welcome Judges!

Kirwan’s Game Store is looking for judges interested in judging at the Last Chance Qualifier and/or Regional Pro Tour Qualifier in Catskill, NY. We need highly motivated judge staff that will make this  a great event! This event is a competitive REL event and standard format with the potential for multiple formats as side events as well. The Regional Pro Tour Qualifier is extremely important for our region. We will have an artist and one additional vendor on site for all of our players needs throughout the weekend.

Compensation

All judges who are selected for this event will receive two Kirwan’s Game Store Judge tokens. 

All level 1 Judges will receive $100 in compensation as well as $20 to serve as a food/travel stipend ($120 total)

All level 2 Judges will receive $120 in compensation as well as $20 to serve as a food/travel stipend ($140 total)

Any level 3 Judges who wish to apply, please contact about compensation. 

Lodging and Travel

If you are wanting to apply for this event and are unable to attend due to travel reasons, please mention this in an application. In a case by case basic we may grant an additional travel stipend.

Dress Code

Dress code includes black dress pants, a belt, a judge shirt, and comfortable shoes. Judges who do not have judge shirts will be offered a Kirwan's Game Store Judge polo. If it is difficult for you to assemble this outfit (say, because you don't enjoy wearing dress pants), please note it in your cover letter. If you need a judge shirt, please include what size you would need. The polo’s run slightly small so please take that into consideration. 

Additional information

We are looking for judges for two events this weekend. On Saturday, we are hosting the Last Chance Qualifier. On Sunday, we are hosting the Regional Pro Tour Qualifier. Please note this in your application if you wish to be staffed for both. 
 

Doors will open at 8:00AM and registration will end at 9:59AM. Judges are expected to arrive by 8:59AM for judge call. 

If you wish to be considered for a standby judge, please check that in your application. Any judge who is on stand by and is not activated will receive free entry into the event as a thank you for your consideration. Any judge who selects to be on standby should already be attending the event, regardless of activation or not.
