Hairy T Regional-Style Pre-Release

Hello All!

We are looking for 1 head judge and up to 4 volunteer floor judges to help us run the regional style pre-release event, Saturday, Sept 21st at the Best Western Primrose hotel.

Events will be up to 32 players, 4 rounds of double elimination, run at regular REL.  Events will fire every time we get 32 players signing up or every hour.

Judge call will be at 8:00am.

Head judge will receive 1 box of M14 or a rain cheque for a box of Theros (delivered on release date, Sept 27th.)  Volunteer judges will receive 1/3 a box of M14 or a rain cheque for Theros on release date.  Judges could trade their packs for store credit as well ($120 for HJ, $40 for Floor judges)  All judges will receive a special, Hairy T Theros custom, limited, play mat. 

There will be good food and lots of snacks throughout the day.  Judges will also be invited to play in the last event of the evening (the 4:00pm 2 Headed Giant event) on the house.  Judges will still be expected to help out during the event, but in a less offical way. (ie, judge shirts off, but still around to help with judge calls and what have you.)

Although I understand this is a bit low compared to what I can usually offer, this event is going to be very tight and we will probably loose money on the event.  This event will be a great chance for newer judges to gain experience working as a team and helping out in the community.
