For official event page:

This is a preliminary PTQ and our area has generally averaged about 36 players (as low as 21, as high as 46). In reality we only need one judge but we are choosing to staff 2 judges so we can help get some L1 judges experience in hopes that it will help the local judge community. We are also running a GPT as a side event so the L1 judge can head judge an event with the benfit of an L2 on hand in case there are questions.

When applying please let us know if you have worked an Atlantis event before or if you have worked with judges that have. We don't have a head judge picked currently so if you are interested in being the HJ let us know what experience you have and make sure you let us know when you apply. Also list if you are able to handle scorekeeper duties and if you are willing to be on standby if need be.

Compensation is listed below in addition to meal compensation up to $10:

  • Head Judge $200 store credit
  • Floor Judge $75 Store Credit ($100 if you head judge the GPT)
  • Standby Judge $25 Store Credit (you will be activated if player count is 50+. If activated comp will be $100 store credit)

Since we know there are a lot of events that need L2s we would like to have a standby head judge. If you are willing to be standby you will get $25 credit or free entry into the event.

We are also running a GPT side event at 3pm. Generally we offer this event to the L1 on staff for the PPTQ. This way you get to head judge while having an L2 to get help if you need it.
