Event Information
Edited: Common Ground Games is looking for one more standby judge for an upcoming PPTQ to activate at 65 players. The venue can hold 100 with spacious seating, and we've have more than 80 for some events, so activation of both is a real possibility, especially on launch weekend! If turnout is low, though, you get free entry in a sealed deck PPTQ.
Expectations:
- Come to the event in judge attire (black pants, black shirt, blacks shoes if able) ready to judge if needed. Bring a change of clothes just in case.
- Read through the Kaladesh Release Notes to familiarize yourself with the new mechanics.
- Current knowledge of the updated IPG, Comprehensive Rules, and Magic Tournament Rules.
- If you have not uploaded a photo of yourself to Judge Apps, your application is not likely to be accepted.
- Arrive by 9:00 am to assist with setup and attend judge meeting. Event starts at 10.
Compensation:
- $100 if called upon to judge, or free play in the event if not needed. Lunch and dinner are provided, as needed. Standby judges will be activated at 33 and then 65 players.
Communication:
- Judge selection will be made Tuesday, September 27th or sooner. Apply early :)
