South West Michigan Area Judge Conference

On behalf of all the SW Michigan judges, we would like to welcome you to beatiful Grand Rapids for a judge conference! This conference will focus on the skills required of L2 judges, and will target L1s transitioning to L2s, as well as expirienced L2s looking to strengthen their skills.

Venue and start time

The conference will be held in Grand Rapids at Big Kidz Games. The address is 3661 Plainfield Ave NE Suite B.

Check in will be between 10-11 and the program will begin promtly at 1100. There will be a lunch break from 1-2PM.

Attendance and foil support

As a thank you to the judge program, Wizards of the Coast allows us to offer attendees a selection of promotional foil cards, proportional to the number of seminars attended. Attendance will be capped to 30 judges, including presenters. In the event that more than 30 apply, selections will be based on the target audience (L1s wishing to become L2s in the SW Michigan area). Attendees whose applications are accepted will recieve a selection of judge foils pending the completion of a brief survey on site. Unfortunately, we cannot extend foil support to judges who apply after the November 1st deadline or judge candidates who have not yet certified, although members of these groups are welcome to attend. L1 testing may be available, please contact Randy Tice prior to the event through judgeapps.
