Event Information
Hello judges,
Theros Prereleases Prereleases are coming, and Outpost Brussels need a whole crew of 8 judges for them, as they scheduled a total of six events.
Prereleases are more than a regular tournament, they are celebration of a new set, and carry a lot of excitement. They feature gimmicks (in this case, the Hero's Path : http://www.wizards.com/Promo/HerosPath/Default.aspx ) and a lot of new or really casual players, so judges are expected to help in order to be sure that everything is as fun as possible and to run extra activities if possible, like mini-contests for example.
As those are Regular events focused on the discovery of the new set, Judges are welcome to play too - however, we strongly discourage you to play and judge with 24+ players, as this would likely negatively impact the customer service provided.
Reviewing the documents (MTR and JAR) and the upcoming set FAQ beforehand will be expected.
The Outpost team plan for 40-60 players for the largest of those events and 20-30 for the smaller ones, so two judges will be staffed on some of those events. The spare judge system will be in use: with less than 33 players, one judge will not be staffed and will play for free as a compensation.

Be aware that most of them will go for about ~5 hours (as the Outposts often cap their prereleases to 4 rounds regarless of participation), so schedule accordingly.
