RESPONSIBILITIES and EXPECTATIONS

This is a Competitive REL event.  In addition to understanding the game rules, you will need a strong working knowledge of the Infraction Procedure Guide and Magic Tournament Rules.  Since these policies undergo changes with each new set release, it is recommended that you review them in preparation for the event. As the HEAD JUDGE, you will be expected to arrive by 11:00 AM, and must stay through the conclusion of the event. You will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of running the event are covered, including player registration.  The store will handle taking payments, and you will assist by entering players into WER.  The store may also assist with score-keeping, but it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure it gets done.  Please wear appropriate judge attire: black shirts, pants, shoes, and belt.  If you have it, an official or regional Magic Judge shirt is preferable but not required.
