RPTQ Weekend Roskilde

In the weekend of December 10th and 11th the tournament organiser Fanatic would like to invite you to participate in a weekend full of magic. Both in the cardplaying Magic kind, but also in the magic of running awesome events and providing great customer service to hundreds of players. 

Schedule

Even though the main event RPTQ is on June 11th we have a packed schedule for the weekend:

Saturday

• Modern (LCQ for the RPTQ)
• Legacy
• Standard (PPTQ)

Sunday

• Modern (RPTQ)
• Modern Competitive Trial
• Sealed (PPTQ)

All 6 events are run at Competitive Rules Enforcement Level.

We expect to need a lot of both L1 and L2 judges to facilitate all of these tournaments. All weekend we will be running drafts which will also need a judge. You must indicate if you have any preferences on which day you wish to work and what shifts. If you wish to have specific roles like scorekeeping or deck check team, please indicate this as well.

On Sunday we will need a single Standby for the Modern event side event. If you are chosen as a Standby and is not activated you will play the event for free.

Compensation

The compensation for all judges per shift is:

• 1 box of Kaladesh
• Meals and drinks during the day

If need support with travel you can apply for Travel Sponsorship. Please indicate your need for travel sponsorship in your application.

Expectations

You are expected to be at the site at the time of your shift, in the appropriate judge attire of judge shirt, black pants and black shoes. We expect that you have some familiarity with the Infraction Procedure Guide at the time of the weekend. While working you will participate as an active part of a larger team with other judges and the TO staff. Be it for other judges, TO or players we expect you to be service minded and helpfull. And most of all we wish for you to have fun!

If you don't have a judgeshirt we will try and manage to find one that you can borrow for the event.
