Il 8-9-10-11 Dicembre 2016 si svolgerà la quarta edizione del Nebraska's War. Potete trovare tutte le informazioni sull'evento qui: http://www.nebraskaswar.com/.
L'evento ospiterà tre negozi WPN: Dungeon Street, The Oracle, MEG Store. L'evento è supportato da WOTC Italia e i negozi organizzeranno questi eventi durante i 4 giorni:

Roles:

Per conto degli organizzatori, stò cercando indicativamente:
Giovedì: 4 FJ + 2 Standby + 2 Volontari
Venerdì: 1 FJ + 2 Standby + 1 Volontario
Sabato: 5 FJ + 3 Standby + 3 Volontari
Domenica: 5 FJ + 3 Standby + 3 Volontari

Inoltre, cerco Judge per alcune posizioni speciali. Se siete interessati ad una di queste posizioni per favore specificate brevemente nella cover letter le vostre precedenti esperienze in quel ruolo.

• Main event Head Judge: Sarete HJ di uno dei Main Event Modern o del Main Event Legacy. L2 Esperti e L3 sono preferiti per questa posizione.
• Scorekeeper: Sarete responsabili dello scorekeeping di tornei multipli, fino a 500 giocatori totali, col WER. Questo ruolo prevede la presenza in staff per tutti e 4 i giorni.
• Mentoring Master: Il ruolo sarà ricoperto da Matteo Callegari. Sarà responsabile del mentoring degli arbitri presenti in sala, con lo scopo di migliorare la qualità di tutto lo staff.

Oltre a questi ruoli specifici, per gli L2+ sarà possibile ricoprire posizioni di HJ o TL di tornei Competitive.

Compensation & Application Modes:

La compensation per il Nebraska's War 2016 è basata sul ruolo. Sono inoltre disponibili sponsorship speciali.
La compensation è, per giorno, la seguente (riferita alla modalità di application):

• Volunteer: 15€ rimborso cibo, se presente in sala per almeno 4h. Questo ruolo è pensato per Judge che intendono fare un esperienza formativa. Il Judge farà parte dello staff come osservatore, aiuterà in certe procedure (se lo desidera) ed avrà modo di fare esperienza in un evento Competitive. Il ruolo non prevede restrizioni di tempo o orario: il Judge potrà presentarsi nel momento in cui lo desidera e potrà andarsene quando sarà soddisfatto. Per una migliore esperienza consiglio di presentarsi al mattino insieme al normale staff.
  Per il ruolo sono preferiti L1 sul percorso per il L2. Specificate lo stato attuale della vostra Checklist nella vostra application. 
• Standby: Ai Judge selezionati come Standby verrà richiesta la presenza all'evento, potranno giocare gratuitamente un Main Event e un Side Event a scelta (escluso Chaos Draft) durante la giornata, ed eventualmente verranno inclusi nello staff in caso di necessità come FJ (dovranno quindi essere reperibili a inizio giornata, e pronti ad arbitrare).
• Full Sponsorship: 70€/1 box + 15€ rimborso cibo. 
• Room Sponsorship: 70€/1 box + 15€ rimborso cibo + posto letto in camera doppia/tripla con gli altri arbitri dello staff nell'hotel in cui si svolgerà il torneo (colazione inclusa) per una o più notti (precedente o successiva al/i giorno/i in cui si è selezionati in staff). Specificate nella vostra application il minimo di notti che siete disposti ad accettare, e il massimo di cui avete bisogno.

Expectations:

Per favore includete nell'application esperienze passate a REL Competitive, così come la conoscenza di eventuali lingue diverse dall'italiano, e a che livello. 
Una buona conoscenza dell'inglese o di altre lingue sarà titolo preferenziale durante la selezione.

L'abbigliamento adeguato per il torneo è: pantaloni neri, camicia o maglia nera (non Magic Judge), cintura nera, scarpe nere.
Le giornate saranno lunghe e faticose, aspettatevi di arrivare a fine giornata molto stanchi.

Lo staff verrà selezionato in base al livello, all'esperienza, alla posizione geografica e alla partecipazione attiva alla comunità. Durante il weekend sarà dato uno spazio particolare al mentoring, essendo questo uno dei pochi tornei internazionali non Premier in cui si può davvero fare un'utilissima esperienza.
Sarà possibile testare per il L2, se interessati scrivetelo nell'application, specificando lo stato attuale della vostra checklist.

On behalf of the organizers, I'm approximately looking for:
Thursday: 4 FJ + 2 Standby + 2 Volunteers

Indeed, I'm looking for some Judges for special roles. If you are interest in one of those positions, please briefly explain in your cover letter your previous experiences in that role.

• Main event Head Judge: You'll be HJ of one of the Modern Main Events or of the Legacy Main Event. Expert L2 and L3 will be preferred for this position.
• Scorekeeper: You'll be responsible of scorekeeping multiple tournaments, up to 500 players, with WER. This role covers 4 full days on staff.
• Mentoring Master: The role will be covered by Matteo Callegari. He'll be responsible for the mentoring of the Judges on staff, with the objective of improving the quality of the whole staff.

Beside those specific roles, it will be possible for L2+ to be HJ or TL of Competitive Events.

Compensation & Application Modes:

Compensation for Nebraska's War 2016 is based on role. Indeed, there will be special sponsorships available.
Compensation is, per day, the following (referred to the application mode):

• Volunteer: 15€ food reimbursement, if part of the staff for at least 4h. This role is designed for Judges interested in a formative experience. The Judge will be part of the staff as observer, will help certain procedures (if he/she wants) and will be able to make some experience in a Competitive event. The role doesn't define restrictions of time: the Judge can be part of the staff for the hours that he/she prefers and leave when satisfied. For a better experience, I recommend being part of the staff from the morning, together with the normal staff.
  For this role L1 on the path to L2 will be preferred. Please specify the current status of your checklist in your cover letter. 
• Standby: Judges selected as Standby will be required to be on site at the beginning of the day, they'll be able to play one Main Event and one Side Event of their choice (for free, excluding chaos draft), and if needed they'll be included in the staff as FJ (so they'll have to be available for the whole morning and ready to Judge).
• Full Sponsorship: 70€/1 box + 15€ food reimbursement. 
• Room Sponsorship: 70€/1 box + 15€ food reimbursement + bed in double/triple room with other Judges of the staff, in the hotel where the event will take place (breakfast included), for one or more nights (before or after the day/s in which they're selected as staff). Please specify in your cover letter the minimum number of nights you'll be willing to accept, and the maximum you'll need.

Expectations:

Please include in your cover letter previous experiences at Competitive REL, as well as the knowledge of foreign languages. It's not needed to talk italian, but it's absolutely needed to know English enough to work in an international environment. Knowledge of other European languages (such as German, French, Spanish, Czech) will be preferential titles for the selection.

The proper dress code for the event is: black trousers, black shirt (not Magic Judge), black belt, black shoes.
Days will be long and tiring, expect to arrive at the end of the day very tired. 

Staff will be selected based on level, experience, geographic position and active involvement in the community. During the weekend we'll give a particular space to mentoring, because this is one of the few non-Premier tournaments where it's actually possible to make a very useful experience.
It will be possible to test for L2, if interest please write it in your cover letter, specifying the current status of your checklist.
