Dutch Open Series - SEASON 1 - 21 & 22 JAN 2017 - NIEUWEGEIN

Some information about the Dutch Open Series, it's comparable to the big .EU leagues such as MKM Series, TOP Series & Bazaar of Moxen series. 2 day spectactle of Magic in a superb location in the centre of Holland (Fletcher Hotel Nieuwegein, near Utrecht). On Saturday we will host Sealed & Standard, on Sunday we will host Modern  & Legacy. Especially on Sunday we expect atleast 200+ players.

Last edition at Nieuwegein (September, 2016), we had around 350 unique players visiting the Modern (200), Legacy (56) & Standard tournaments (46). Maximum cap for this location is 256 unique players per day. Total prize support is over € 8.000,00 divided over 2 days (based on attendance).

For the upcoming Dutch Open Series on 21 & 22 January (Release weekend Aether Revolt, website: http://www.dutchopenseries.nl) we are looking for:

4 Headjudges, 2 for Saturday (Sealed & Standard) and 2 for Sunday (Modern & Legacy), preferred level 2 or higher
3-5 floorjudges per day, preferred level 2 or higher (or a very experienced level 1 almost becoming level 2)
2-3 standby judges per day, you can enroll in any event you like throughout the day
1 dedicated scorekeeper (already filled)

Compensation (per day):

• € 50,00 or 350 DOS tix* for a 8 hour workshift (with occasional free time)
• € 25,00 or 175 DOS tix* for an additional 4 hours (Top 8 / late-night draft)
• Flexible compensation for travel expenses (maximum of € 25,00 or 175 DOS tix* depending on location, please specify in application)
• Headjudges will receive an extra € 25,00 or 175 DOS tix*
• Lunch (in the form of 2 sandwiches, fresh fruit + candy bar)
• Dinner (included for Headjudges and judges doing an extra, late, shift)
• Water / softdrinks / coffee / tea throughout the day

We have the availability to reserve hotel rooms with a small discount. A double room for 1 night is € 69,00 incl. breakfast. If you stay at the hotel we will pay the travel expenses anyway to help you pay for the room. If you would like to use this option please contact me (Charly) so I can make the reservation in time. This also guarantees you of a great night with some beers on the house!

This is also the very first edition and the start of the Dutch National Ladder (will replace the NK in 2017). More information about this concept will soon be posted. 

 *DOS tix are valued at € 0,20 and are redeemable this weekend at GOAT Enterprise (Boosterboxes, singles, sleeves etc.), 350 DOS tix represent a value in product of € 70,00.
