Northern California Judge Holiday Party 2016

Our very first NorCal Judge Holiday Party is happening!

When: December 18th

Time: 12pm

Where: Isle of Gamers in Santa Clara

What: PARTY TIME!!

We are having our first annual NorCal Judge Holiday Party! This year it will be hosted by Isle of Gamers in Santa Clara. We will be hosting an $8 Kaladesh draft with no prize support for judges attending the party.

What else are we doing? How about a white elephant gift exchange and food! 

What is a White Elephant gift exchange you ask?  Please bring a wrapped gift gift worth about $20. For those who are not familiar with what this is, here is how it works:

Each person brings an unmarked wrapped gift. Once the exchange begins we are all assigned a number and each person gets to pick a gift starting with number one. They unwrap it and take it back to their seat. The next person can pick a wrapped gift off the table or they can steal a gift from someone who has already opened theirs. If you get your gift stolen, you can pick a new wrapped gift or steal from someone. A gift can only be stolen once per turn and after three steals the turn comes to an end. After all players have chosen a gift, the first player gets to swap a gift if they like. Same rules apply. Lastly, a gift may only be stolen 3 times then it is considered "safe".

Lastly, if drafting is not your thing, please bring Commander, Judge Tower, tabletop games or your favorite way to pass the time!

Space is limited to 50 people. If you want to attend, please submit an application here. I really don't want to turn anybody away for not letting me know your coming. So PLEASE apply here. I will post info on facebook also.

Need another reason to join us? If you submitted an application to receive your yearly reward, I will be bringing them with me to the party to distribute. Attending an in region conference or judge meet up is the only way to receive these!
