2016 Gold Rush

Neutral Grounds' end-of-year event Gold Rush will be held for two days: November 26 and November 27. The venue is at the Glorietta Activity Center.

The main event on Saturday (11/26) will be Standard Constructed. A maximum of eight Swiss rounds will be played on the first day. The second day (11/27) will be the continuation of the Standard event for the top 64 players plus the Top 8 playoff. A Modern event will also be run on Sunday plus 4-round Kaladesh Sealed events by-demand.

All applicants for this event should expect to work on one day only. The organizer has expressed his desire to get a lot of new judges for this event and to accomodate most of you, I have decided to have different staff for both days. If you are chosen to work on both days, you will be informed promptly. Application deadline is on November 22. Please answer my bonus questions as much as possible. 

Compensation per day is Kaladesh boosters computed at number of players divided by 3 to be divided by all the judges. The organizer said that he will give something on top of the normal compensation if attendance reaches 450+ players for the Standard event.

Lunch, mid-day snacks, dinner arrangement - (11/22 update: Eto pa rin siguro. Haha. My unofficial call is lunch and mid-day snacks would be provided by the organizer. Dinner is iffy but expect at least a 200-peso reimbursement (have those receipts ready ^__^). 

Judges should wear their SEA judge shirt on the event date. If you do not have this judge shirt, please express your desire to borrow one in the local Facebook group.

Call time for Sunday   is 915AM.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE THE EVENT:
Promote the event/s as much as possible. Inform the players about the pre-registration procedure and the event's format.
