Annual Judge Holiday Party Incoming!
Where: Tier 1 Games in Temecula
When: December 17th at 3pm
What to bring: An unmarked wrapped gift worth about $20 for the white elephant gift exchange. Beer or wine (no hard alcohol). Games to play.
We will be having a White Elephant Gift exchange and we will be catering food this year.
After food and gifts are done, Tier 1 Games will be hosting an $8 no prize draft for everyone who attends the party. Drafting not your thing? Bring your Commander, Judge Tower, Cube and/or board games. There will be plenty to play with.
Damyan Brunson is very graciously closing his shop Tier 1 Games for the latter part of the day to host us. You may bring beer/wine for yourself and/or to share. No hard alcohol please.
Lastly, you may bring a plus one to this event.
I will also have the yearly regional reward with me to distribute to those who applied for it. Attending an in region conference or judge meet up is the only way to receive these!
Looking forward to another great holiday gathering!
White Elephant rules:
What is a White Elephant gift exchange you ask? Please bring a wrapped gift gift worth about $20. For those who are not familiar with what this is, here is how it works:
Each person brings an unmarked wrapped gift. Once the exchange begins we are all assigned a number and each person gets to pick a gift starting with number one. They unwrap it and take it back to their seat. The next person can pick a wrapped gift off the table or they can steal a gift from someone who has already opened theirs. If you get your gift stolen, you can pick a new wrapped gift or steal from someone. A gift can only be stolen once per turn and after three steals the turn comes to an end. After all players have chosen a gift, the first player gets to swap a gift if they like. Same rules apply. Lastly, a gift may only be stolen 3 times then it is considered "safe".
