Grand Prix Kuala Lumpur 2014

Hello Judges!

The application window for Grand Prix Kuala Lumpur 2014 is now open! This GP will be on 25-26 January 2014, with grinders and other public events on Friday, 24 January 2014. Format for this event is Theros sealed deck/booster draft. There will be a judge conference attached to this GP, however more details will only be available after applications close for this event. The application window is 2 weeks (ending 20th October) and the target is to announce selections latest by the first week of November.

All judges will be working on Saturday and Sunday, and can apply as a volunteer or for room sponsorship. Judges who apply for and receive sponsorship will be required to work on Friday as well. If you are applying for room sponsorship but are also willing to come as a volunteer, please select both sponsorship options when applying, otherwise the default assumption is that you can only come if given room sponsorship. As sponsorship is limited, your chances of being selected are higher if you can come as a volunteer. If you are applying as a volunteer and am interested in working on Friday as well, please indicate that in your cover letter. Volunteers will be notified if they are selected to work on Friday.

Please remember that appropriate judge attire will be required: black judge shirt, black trousers with a belt, and black shoes. If you do not have a judge shirt, please indicate this including size so we can arrange one for you.

Compensation will be 1 display of boosters/judge level, +1 for non-local judges, +1 for working on Friday. Judge foils will also be given (1 packet/judge level). A food allowance will be provided for each day of work.
