Event Information
Beginning Phase
Thank you for your interest in Settler’s Standard PPTQ. The winner of this Constructed event will qualify for the Regional PTQs. I'm looking for one (1) floor judge for this event. Floor judge applicants should be a L1 judge working actively towards L2 and confident in their Comp Rules and IPG knowledge, or an L2+. All applicants should detail their recent Competitive REL experience in their cover letter, as well as their strengths and areas of improvement.
Black shirt and black trousers are the minimum uniform requirement.
Upkeep Step
The compensation for this event will be £35, as much tea/coffee as you require (within reason), a free lunch and a free can/plastic bottle of juice.
Precombat Main Phase
Judges are expected to be on-site at least half an hour before the main event (time TBC). Judges will be expected to stay until the beginning of the semifinals as the earliest. If you have any restrictions on how early or late you are able to arrive or stay, please state this in your application.
Postcombat Main Phase
There are testing opportunities for Level 1 at this event, but only by prior arrangement. If you would like to test for Level 1, or know someone who may be interested, contact me on Facebook or by email (magic@lizmackie.co.uk).
End Step
Note: An application may be accepted early, do not wait until the last minute to apply if you want to judge this event!
Good luck to all applicants. A meaningful cover letter will be the main method of determining the successful applicant. If you have read this far then make sure you add in your application what your favourite mammal is.
