PPTQ @Stockport & Judge Testing

Our plan with this event is not only to run our first PPTQ but to help our local L1 level up!

I'm looking for one (1) Head Judge for this event. Ideally we are looking for a Level 3 or Level 2 Certified Assessor Judge as our local Level 1 (Aaron Strawbridge) is looking to be examined. If no Level 3 or Level 2 Assessor is available we'd accept an application from a Level 2 Judge  so the event can run.

Helping us level up our local Level 1 will not only be good for us a Store but help the local community with another Manchester based L2 so we are very keen to make this happen. Compensation for travel and/or accomodation is available to the right applicant. This and judging fee to be negotiated. Upto £100 Travel/accom and 1 booster per 2 players (not capped) is our current offer. Free food and drink is available on the day as well.

Our venue can comfortably seat 200 Magic players, has linked flat screens for Tournament Organisation (Round draws and Timers), free Wi-Fi and on site cafe offering drinks and snacks. We have free parking on site, good public transport links from Stockport or Manchester Piccadilly Train Station (we can arrange to pick you up from the station).

Please include in your cover letter your recent experience, judges you have worked with, your strengths and previous experience of assessing Junior Judges.  Minimum uniform requirement for the event is black shirt/blouse and black trousers/skirt. The Judge is required to be on site from 10.30am.
