Clash at the Cradle (Vintage HJ)

NOTE: This application is strictly for the Vintage Head Judge position. Floor Judge applicants will have an application at a later date.

The Comic Book Depot of Wantagh, NY is proud to be working with the Cradle of Aviation Museum to put on a fantastic event on Sunday, April 30th: Clash at the Cradle! There will be two main Competitive REL events: A Modern Constructed Eternal Extravaganza Satellite Series Gold event, and an (unsanctioned) Vintage event that's both an EESS Gold event and a New York Stax Exchange qualifier. Main event applications will be going out soon, but first, we need to find a Head Judge for the Vintage event! 

Your responsibilities will lie primarily with the day of the event; however, you will also have input on what FJ applicants you would like to work with you on your event. Strong preference will be given to L2+ applicants, as well as those with experience judging Vintage events. You will be expected to be in proper judge attire for the event--GP black shirt is preferred, but a regional polo is acceptable as well. 

The event begins at 10am, with check-in beginning at 9am. Head Judges would be expected to arrive before the 9am time as well. Both events are appropriate Swiss rounds as per the Magic Tournament Rules, with cuts to top 8 for each event. Side events will be running as well, but your focus will be the Vintage event.

Compensation for the Head Judge position will be $120 cash.
