What Is Going on Here?

Georgia Mini-Con spring 2017 edition is here, and is slated to be the Worst Tournament Ever™.

We are trying something new for this minicon and in lieu of the traditional panels of judging topics will utilize a little more hands-on learning!

L1's and L0's are (especially) invited to attend as they will be helping to run a Comp REL tournament that promises to bring some challenges. Essentially, there will be players and judges in the audience who will be ensuring that everything that could go wrong in a Comp REL tournament will. As a result, this is a great learning experience and a great way to get some Comp REL experience for those L1s that are looking to spruce up an application for their next pPTQ or help show they have what it takes to level up.

So what should you expect? Nothing short of a total train wreck.

Who

Everyone with an interest in judging in the state of Georgia! L0-L2 (and beyond) are welcome as there will be learning opportunities for all. 

L1s looking for experience in Comp REL will have priority for 'judging' slots.
L2s will be needed to help make this tournament the disaster that we all know it can be.

And it's the SE, so you know it's going to be lit.

Foil Support

Wizards of the Coast and the Judge Program are rewarding certified judges at this conference with a selection of judge foils. Only those registered and certified by April 8 will be eligible for foil support. There are no exceptions to this policy 

What Else Should I Know?

There may be Waffle House. Ruining the tournament with delicious golden smells, syrup, and if you are really good chocolate chips.
