Hola a todos, muchas gracias por su interés de participar en el “GP México 2014”.
El torneo principal será los días sábado 15 y domingo 16 de Febrero y un pequeño número de jueces será requerido para ayudar en los “Last Chance Trials” el viernes 14 de Febrero.
Tiempos
Esta solicitud estará abierta por 3 semanas hasta el 22 de Noviembre. Por favor asegúrate de aplicar a tiempo.
Expectativas
Formar parte de un Grand Prix es una gran experiencia personal y profesional, pero también es mucho trabajo y un gran compromiso con la comunidad de Magic. Las labores de un juez en un GP son diversas y especializadas. Entre las funciones que deberás desempeñar están: responder llamados de jugadores, resolver situaciones complejas de juego, preparar el producto para el evento, montar el área de torneo, recoger basura, brindar ayuda a los jugadores en general, entre muchas otras. Este trabajo suele alargarse por muchas horas y ser agotador, por lo que te pedimos estar listo y descansado para poder hacerlo de la mejor manera.
Compensación
WotC proporcionará como agradecimiento cartas foil promocionales para los jueces que trabajen por lo menos durante dos días del evento. Cada juez recibirá una cantidad de paquetes de foils igual a su nivel de juez..
Los jueces también recibirán una caja de sobres por cada día de trabajo en el evento, caja y media para jueces L3+
Contaremos con camisas de juez para los que no tengan la suya todavía. Estas normalmente son muy limitadas, así que si necesitarás una no olvides mencionarlo en tu aplicación, junto con tu talla.
La alimentación durante el evento correrá a cargo del TO, la comida está planeada para un gran número de personas y no contempla necesidades muy específicas. Por lo que si tienes requerimientos especiales te pedimos tomes tus precauciones. También durante todo el evento tendremos agua y snacks disponibles para el staff.
Los jueces que no vivan en la Ciudad de México podrán solicitar patrocinio de hospedaje, los seleccionados recibirán 3 noches de alojamiento en un hotel cercano a la sede del evento, las habitaciones serán compartidas con otros jueces. Si requieres menos noches por favor menciónalo en tu aplicación.

Hi all, thanks a lot for your interest to participate in the "GP Mexico 2014” event.
The main tournament will be held on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th, February 2014. A small number of judges will be required to assist in the "Last Chance Trials" on Friday 14th.
Time
This application will be open for three weeks until November 22th.
Expectations
Being part of a Grand Prix is a great personal and professional experience, but also lots of hard work and a strong commitment with the Magic community. The duties of a GP judge are diverse and specialized. Among the functions that you´ll perform are: answering player calls, resolve complex situations, prepare product for the event, setting up the tournament area , picking up litter , provide general assistance to players, etc. This work often extends for several hours and can be exhausting, so please come ready and well rested to perform your best.
Compensation
WotC will provide a promotional foil cards set for judges who work at least two days of the event. A package for each level you are.
The judges also receive a booster display for each day they work in the event, and an extra half display for L3+ judges.
We will have judge shirts at hand for those who don’t have one yet. These are very limited, so if you need one please do not forget to mention in your application along with your preferred size.
Food during the event will be provided by the TO; the food is planned for a large number of people and does not provide very specific needs. So if you have special requirements we ask you take your precautions. Water and snacks will be available during the event as well.
Judges who do not live in Mexico City may request lodging sponsorship, those selected will get three nights lodging at a hotel close to the venue. Rooms will be shared with other judges. If you require fewer nights please mention it in your application.
