Mega GPT Weekend: Road to Vegas

On behalf of Axion Now, I am pleased to open the solicitation for the Mega GPT weekender event in Las Vegas!

This is the swansong for the awesome Axion Mega GPT series, and we are looking to go out on a high.  We have two very busy days of events and are looking for dedicated and customer service-oriented judges for them.  If you are looking for a rare opportunity to show what you can do at a large and prestigious event, this could be for you.  If you are interested, please read all the details below before submitting your application.

Events overview

There are three major events over this weekend:

SUNDAY 30 APRIL - SEALED
SUNDAY 30 APRIL - LEGACY
MONDAY 1 MAY - MODERN

There are also other side events throughout the weekend.

You can apply for either the Sunday or the Monday, or both.  Please bear in mind that these are long days and hard work, so if you apply for both do make sure you have the time and energy to dedicate to both days.  There is a block booking at the Travelodge next to the venue for judges on Sunday night - rooms are £16.50 each without breakfast and will be shared.  Rooms will be allocated to judges working both days in preference.

The report time for each day is 9AM.  We will also be looking for two judges to work a special evening shift on the Sunday, taking care of the late activities and relieving the Sunday main shift judges.

Compensation

The baseline compensation for floor judges for this event is one box of Amonkhet boosters per day.  If a threshold of 251 players in the main event(s) is met on any given day, then the compensation is increased to two boxes for that day.

We are also looking for a scorekeeper and for head judges for each event for the weekend.  These roles pay two boxes, or three if the thresholds are met.
