2017 Alberta Judge Conference

Event Information

With summer in full swing and no playoff hockey left to distract us - that makes it a perfect time attend the 2017 Alberta Judge Conference!

The event will be held on JUNE 25, 2017 beautiful-ish EDMONTON, ALBERTA!

Our Lovely hosts for the event will Star Lotus Games - located at: 10441 123 Street NW #102, Edmonton Alberta

Event Summary

Conferences are a great place to pick up valuable knowledge and skills related to judging, as well as an excellent source of networking within the judge community.

Over the course of the conference you can expect to see various presenations on a variety of topics relating to judging and interacting with players/organizers.

Foil Support and Registration

As a token of appreciation towards the betterment of the Judge Program a selection of Foils will be eligible for all participants who are at least a Level 1 Judge, at their first judge conference of the year, in good standing as of the application deadline, May 26, 2017.  Judges attending multiple conferences in Canada in 2017 are still only eligible to receive one (1) total conference package.

If you apply after this deadline, foils cannot be guarenteed for attendance.

If you wish to attend the Edmonton Judge Conference please take some time to fill out an application and tell us about your JudgeLife.  Since attendance to this conference will be limited please include in your cover letter how this conference will effect your own personal growth as a Judge.

Please note preference will be given to Canadian Judges, but all perspective attendees are encouraged to apply (and will be acceptable as long as there is room and cover letters contain sufficient content)

If your Judge Level is currently L0 please have your RC contact the Judge Manager to confirm your certification.

PRESENTING

If you are interested in presenting at the conference please include the information in your cover letter.  As presenting spots will be limited for this event please include a brief decription of the topic you would like to cover

TESTING

If you are interested in testing for the next level this is the perfect opportunity.  L1 Testing will be available at this conference.  

If you wish to test for L2 please email the Judge Manager
