Thank you for your interest in events at Victory Comics! We are looking for a number of judges to make our events a success, so please, read on to determine how we can work together.

Staff for this event will consist of:

One Head Judge

Format

The event will be Legacy format, and run swiss rounds as recommended by the MTR, with a cut to Top 4/8.

Compensation

Judges on staff will receive their choice of one booster box of any in-print standard-legal set or $135 in store credit per day worked, lunch, and drinks while on duty.

Expectations

Judges are expected to be on-site, in judge uniform, at 10:30 am on each day they will be working. Seatings for the player meeting will be posted at 11:03, so if you are running late, please call the store so we can be prepared. Head judges are expected to stay until the event is concluded.

Judges are expected to be familiar with the IPG, MTR and Comp Rules.

Expected uniform is either:

• Grand Prix Magic Judge shirt (or long-sleeve black dress shirt, if you don't have a Grand Prix shirt)
• Mid-Atlantic Judge Polo

Uniform will be determined by the Head Judge, with the expectation that all judges will wear the same uniform - if all judges do not have a Mid-Atlantic polo, the Grand Prix shirt option will be used.

Application Guidelines

Staffing for this event will be an experienced level one judge or level two judge. L1s on staff will be expected to have a strong knowledge of the IPG - preference will be given to L1s who are nearing completion of their L2 checklist.

Note that there is only one judge on staff for this event, and players at Victory's Legacy events have traditionally been more cantankerous than at other events - our IQs are generally better entry-level events.

Staff for this event will be announced within one week of the application deadline.
