USA-South Spring 2017 Comp REL Judge Training

Welcome to the USA-South Spring 2017 Judge Training!

This event is supplemental to the main conference being held the day after on Sunday and aims to offer training opportunities for new judges. Giving them the chance to run an event in a stress free environment.

We are seeking 12 Judges (Ideally L1s) and 1 HJ to participate in the running of a mini-tournament. We also need 16 judges to act as participants in the tournament. It will be a 4 pk sealed event using Aether Revolt/Kaladesh product. Each participant will get to keep the product they open. Rounds will be mini-rounds running about 15-20 minutes.

L1 Judge Applicants:

Please treat this as an experience to get feedback on your cover letter while applying. Apply to this event as though you were applying to any other and wanting to get staffed to work it. This event is about training from start to finish. Make sure to include your goals, what experience you do have, things you might know that would encourage a TO to staff you. Your experience won't count against you of course, but it does give you a chance for some feedback you might not otherwise get.
