Event Information
Judge Conference
Welcome to Ireland’s second ever judge conference. This event is open to all qualified L1 through L3 judges
We are looking at a 10.30am start and hoping to finish in around the 5pm mark. Afterwards there will be a judge dinner at a local restaurant
There will be L1 and L2 testing available on the day though please inform us if you wish to apply as it requires set up. Those applying for L2 will be asked for their progress on their L2 checklist.
Application
To apply please provide a brief cover letter stating what you would like to get from attending this conference.
Additionally, when applying please answer the following questions
· Would you like to present on a topic? Please provide a brief summary on your intended topic in your cover letter.
· Are you planning on testing for advancement in judge level?
· Would you like to attend the judge dinner? Please note any special dietary requirements below.
Closing dates for applications
Applications for presenters will be closed on the 10th June 2017.
Applications for attendees will be closed on the later date of 12th June 2017, or until all slots have been filled.
Capacity
We have space for 25 judges, including staff so get your applications in quick!
Schedule
The timetable for this event will be released once presenters have been chosen.
Foils
This event will be supported by the UKISA conference fund so certified attendees and presenters confirmed by the above dates should get JUDGE FOILS.
Magic Event
For those wishing to play competitively there will be a PPTQ held nearby on the Saturday.
Traveling to The Warchest
From the Airport:
The Aircoach bus goes directly to Dun Laoghaire for 8 Euro, and leaves every hour on the half hour.
From the City Centre:
Multiple buses (7, 7a, 46a) go to Dun Laoghaire for 3.30 euro one way. This will take approximately 45 mins – 1 hour.
The Dart (train) can be taken to Dun Laoghaire for 3.25 single (6.15 return). This will take approximately 25-30 mins.
