UKISA Regional Conference 2017

Hello and welcome to the Judge Apps UKISA 2017 National Conference Page.

We would like to announce and invite applications for the 2017 National Judge Conference.

The venue for the conference this year is in 2008 European “City of Culture” Liverpool!

We will converge on the Holiday Inn conveniently located in Liverpool’s City Centre a short walk from Lime Street train station. Easily commutable through all major travel links with relevant information on how to get there listed further below.

The conference will begin at or about 10:30 on Saturday morning with registration; the first seminar will be at 11:30. Finishing time on Sunday will be by 16:30 to allow attendees to travel home on Sunday night.

Attendees should expect content tailored with Competitive REL Judging in mind.

Because of this we believe this conference is a fantastic opportunity for any judges looking to progress their knowledge and skills in this area. Specifically those looking to achieve Level 2 or those who are already Level 2 and above will get the most out of this Conference.

Certified judges who live in the UK, Ireland and South Africa region are welcome to attend. Judges from other regions may apply to attend; applications will be accepted at the discretion of their regional coordinators.

The event has a maximum capacity owing to venue size. Judges are encouraged to apply early, as in the event that applications exceed capacity and the venue is not in a position to increase the space available to us; later applications may be placed on standby.

The conference programme and seminars will be announced at a later date. Judges interested in facilitating a seminar or otherwise contributing to the conference should indicate this in their applications, and apply before the 9th July 2017 by 23:59.

Facilitators will then be expected to share progress and draft materials and notes of their seminars following a timetable to be notified. This is to ensure quality control.

We have a number of rooms reserved at the venue on the Friday and Saturday nights. 
Delegates wishing to access these will need to contact the hotel reservation team by phone quoting the code "ukm" 
On reservation the hotel will ask for debit or credit card details. However no payment will be taken to secure the room until 4 weeks prior to the event. Any rooms not reserved 6 weeks prior to the event will be released back into the general availability for the hotel. 

As a token of appreciation of the time which judges give up to attend the conference, certified judges who attend and actively participate in the conference environment will receive a selection of promotional foils. 

We are currently in discussions with a buyer for anyone who is interested in us arranging the Purchase of these Judge foils on an individual basis, more details of that will emerge as we work to find the best deal for all parties involved.
